Why use a copywriter?
So you have found your way here, and I’m sure this question is burning in your mind. What is the benefit of using a copy writer? Well, let me spell it out for you in true writer style. A copy writer can benefit your business in many ways. Without sounding like your year 12 english teacher, writing forms a big part of our lives, and particularly our businesses.
The way we put our selves out into the digital and social space plays a big part in the consumers decision to use our service or purchase our product. Beyond that, is both the one way and two way communication we have with our customer base. This can heavily influence a customers decision to choose your brand in a saturated market.
Think about when you are sitting in the car surfing the radio stations. You pass through a lot of static, white noise, and you hit a station and listen for a few seconds then continue on. You finally settle on a station playing a song you like, one you can sing along to because you know the words. You might stop on a station with presenters that you like. Usually this is because they see the world the same way as you do, you agree with their opinions, and the majority of what they say.
This is the digital space. There are plenty of websites, Instagram profiles, Facebook pages that are all offering the same product or service as you. It’s information overload for the consumer, it’s their version of the static. What you need to be able to do is cut through the white noise and let that consumer know that you can sing the words, that you like the same songs, you share the same views, you agree on the same things. This consumer is your target audience. It is who you have designed your whole business around.
So how are we letting this person know that they should stop on our station? If they go between our socials and website is the messaging consistent? Are you touching base in their inbox and reminding them that you guys are a good fit? Can they read about what goes on behind the scenes and get to know your brand? Likelihood is there are areas of opportunity here. If there aren’t, then the likelihood is you are investing a lot of your time in keeping this communication up!
So here is where we step in. We meet up with you, we chat, we drink (coffee or wine depending on the meeting time!) and I get to know your brand DNA. If this isn’t all mapped out yet, I’ll help you fill between the lines. Once I understand you and your brand, I can speak on your behalf. I can save you the time, and deliver you the effective and strategic communications that will have your target market listening to your station, bopping their head to the sweet tune we are sending out to them, and ultimately checking out the items in their cart.
Beyond this, we will also be building a loyalty with those customers. They will interact with your socials, join the conversations, enter the competitions, and share the content. They will have your station pre programmed on their radio so that they don’t have to bother surfing for an alternative.
So you use a copy writer to free up one of the biggest commodities in business: Time. While also levelling up your socials captions, your website, your e-marketing, and your advertorials. Not to mention the added bonus of getting to hang with us! If you haven’t already, we can help your brand expand into newsletters, blogs and feature article pieces. We also have a list of local creatives on call, so you are welcome to pick our brains for additional branding services.
So go ahead, a consult is free. There will be clever content writing, brilliant brand communications and potentially a coffee in it for you!
